Get answers to the most frequently asked questions.

Download the app from the App Store or get it on Google Play. Tap Get Started, Enter your name, email, phone number, and password (must be 8+characters) then tap Sign Up. Decide who needs help. Are you creating the account for yourself, for someone else or for an event, group, or cause? If you are creating the account for yourself tap here. If you are creating the account for someone else tap here. To create a community team, select For an Event, Group or Cause and then tap here.

1.  Open the CircleOf app and select Sign In.

2.  Enter your CircleOf account email and password and tap Sign In.

It only takes a few steps to reset or change your password for your CircleOf account.

 

If you have forgotten your password:

1.  Go to the Sign In page and tap Forgot Password?

2.  Enter your CircleOf account email and tap Reset Password.  An email will be sent with the next steps.

3.  Open the email from CircleOf titled “CircleOf password reset request” and tap Reset Password.

4.  Enter a new password that you have not used before and tap Reset Password.

 *If you do not see the “CircleOf password reset request” email in your inbox check your junk/spam folder.

To change your password:

1.  From the Home screen tap on the navigation menu in the upper left corner and select your name.

2.  Tap on your existing password to be taken to the Set New Password page.

3.  Enter your “old” password, type in a “new” password and confirm your “new password”.  Tap Change Password.  The app will automatically save your new password.

There are 5 different CircleOf account types.   Each account type has access to different permissions.

Team Creator is the main account holder with access to ALL permissions.

The Person Being Cared For has access to all administrative features except for removing a team and removing a team member.

Inner Circle members have limited access to administrative features like creating events and inviting team members.

Admin members (Community Teams) have limited access to administrative features like creating events and inviting team members.

Friends & Family members (Individual and Community Teams) have access to view administrative features but are able to create events, chat, and send sentiments.

Below is a detailed look into the different roles and permissions.

**If the Team Creator changes their own role, their previous role as Team Creator will need to be reassigned to a Person Being Cared For or to an Inner Circle team member.

 

Now that you have an understanding of the different CircleOf account types learn more about how to send out your care team invitations.

You can add the person being cared for to your care team by following the directions below.  This is optional and is not required in order to utilize CircleOf.

 

1.  On the Home screen under the Invite tile, tap Send Invite.

3.  You can choose to allow CircleOf access to your phone’s contacts (OK), which will make it easier to send invites, or if you’d like to type the phone number or email directly select Don’t Allow.

4a.  If you allow access to your contacts, you can search for the specific contact and then tap on their name.  Or you can type the person’s email or phone number in this field and add them.

4b.  Select their email or their phone number and then tap Next.

5. If you do not allow the app access to your contacts list, you can directly type in the recipient’s phone number or email.  Press Next to be sent to the invitation default text.

6. You can then customize the default text on the invitation. Once you are ready, click Send Invite.

7.  The screen will confirm that an invitation has been sent.

Assemble your care team and get everyone connected.  Send an invitation through email or SMS and gather your friends and family to help and support.

To invite additional care team members to a newly created CircleOf account:

1.  On the Home screen under Who Else Can Help?, tap Invite Others.

2.  There are 2 different roles you can give someone.  You can invite them as an Inner Circle member or as a Friends & Family member.  If needed, the Team Creator and Person Being Cared For account types can change a care team member’s role at any time.  Select if you would like to invite an Inner Circle or Friends & Family team member by tapping on the appropriate button.

To invite team members to an existing team:

1.  Go to your team profile page (go to the Home screen and tap View Team Profile or from the Navigation menu tap View Team).

2.  Tap on View All.

3.  Here you will see all the care team members.  Under Who Else Can Help? tap on Invite Others.

If someone does not receive your care team invitation you can always resend it the original way it was first sent.  If there is a typo in your contact’s email or their phone number you can always revoke the invitation, and then send them a new invitation.  Directions for resending an invitation and revoking an invitation are below.

 

To resend a care team invitation:

1. Go to the care team profile page either from the Home screen by tapping View Team Profile or from the Navigation menu by tapping View Team.

2.  Tap on View All.

3.  Tap the 3 dot menu next to the person you want to resend the invitation to.

4.  From the pop up tap Resend Invite.

To revoke a care team invitation:

1. Go to the care team profile page either from the Home screen by tapping View Team Profile or from the Navigation menu by tapping View Team.

2.  Tap on View All.

3.  Locate the person and then swipe right and tap Revoke Invitation.

Only the Team Creator and Person Being Cared For account types can change the team photo.  To change the team photo go to your team’s profile page.

 

1. To access the team profile page go to the Home screen and tap View Team Profile or from the Navigation bar menu tap View Team.

2.  In the upper right corner of your team’s profile page tap the camera icon.

3.  You can take a photo or choose one from your library.  With either selection, you will need to allow CircleOf access to your camera or photo library.

4.  If you take a photo tap Use Photo to save your image and if you select one from your library tap Choose to save that picture.

Only the Team Creator and Person Being Cared For can customize or edit the team’s profile page and location.  To see a list of account type permissions tap here.

1. To access the team profile page go to the Home page and tap View Team Profile or from the Navigation menu tap View Team.

2.  Here is where you can change the team’s header photo (see tutorial here), edit the team name, explore the resource center, change the person being cared for’s condition(s), invite additional team members, add a team greeting, and add a location.

3.  Don’t forget to save your changes.

Changes to a team member’s account type can be done from the team profile page.  Only the Team Creator and the Person Being Cared For are able to switch another team member’s role.  The Person Being Cared For cannot be switched to any other account type.

NOTE:  Feature Coming Soon- If the Team Creator would like to switch their account type, they will need to reassign the team creator role to either the Person Being Cared For or to an Inner Circle care team member.

1.  To access the team profile page go to the Home screen and tap View Team Profile or from the Navigation menu tap View Team.

2.  Tap on View All.

3.  Swipe left on the care team member whose account you would like to switch and then tap on the button to switch their account type.

4.  Confirm the change by tapping Switch Role.
